Who Are We?

Prayer and Praise is a church that is in pursuit after the heart of the Father. Our worship is at times exuberant, and at other times, takes you to a time of rest in knowing who Jesus is.
We are part of the fellowship of the Assemblies of God, but we are people who come from varied backgrounds and denominations. But we are all in the pursuit to know who God is. Our mission is: In pursuit of His presence, touching the world with the love of Jesus Christ. It is our prayer that people would find a life changing relationship with Christ and as a result their lives would be transformed through Him. We are touching the world through going out into our community during the summer months at Friday Night Live; Sunday Night Family events; West Michigan Fair Evangelism booth; or just going out to be relevant in our community. Jesus tells us to go into all the world...so that's what we do. We have sent teams to Jamaica, Argentina, Mexico, to the streets of Chicago, Russia and Romania. We have our passports and are willing to go! We want to touch the world with the love of Jesus Christ. |
We are a diverse Church with people of all ages, races and economic levels worshiping together. We want you to feel welcome and will help you find people like yourself and will encourage you as you build new relationships.
