Hospitality

“Welcoming people and Connecting people into the life of the church.”

Greeters:

As a Greeter, you are one of the most important experiences for first time guest.  Through a  hug, friendly handshake, or a simple smile and a welcome, you set the atmosphere for each person who walks through the doors.  Anyone can serve as a greeter – alone, with a spouse or friend, or as an entire family.

Hosts:

Do you love meeting new people?  A Service Host is a vital part of our Sunday Services for doing just that.  A Host serves by welcoming those who are in the foyer and sanctuary, making them feel valued with a sincere greeting, a genuine smile, and be in tune to the Lord’s leading if there is a need such as prayer or word of encouragement.  Hosts also are available to help answer any questions new visitors might have with the flow of service, along with pointing out locations of restrooms and children’s ministry rooms.

Ushers:

Engage with each member through a warm welcome at the sanctuary doors along with handing out our weekly bulletin.  The Ushers are fully devoted to serve the needs of visitors, members, and assisting other ministry teams to ensure a smooth running service with minimal distractions.

Coffee Hosts:

Is coffee and fellowship your passion?  If so, we would love for you to  join our team of amazing people who serve coffee, hot chocolate, and snacks.  There are opportunities available to make coffee host before and/or after service.

Connect Center:

Are you computer savvy?  If you can navigate your way around the computer, we have the ministry for you!  Connect Center Volunteers help enter contact information into our church’s online database.  This program helps us better be able to interact with each other between ministries and is also used as an online directory which allows us to contact church members and better serve their needs.

*Hospitality Volunteers are asked to arrive at 9:40am on the Sunday you are scheduled to serve.  Training will be provided to equip you with the tools and confidence you need to bring a more excellent experience for church attendees.
